| Rules are for Forums & In-Game. #1 RespectYou must respect your fellow forum & in-game members, as well as moderators and administrators. Constructive criticism and feedback is allowed, however, flaming, insulting, being rude, swearing, etc. are not. Bullying on the forum is NOT permitted! #2 Inappropriate content As we are a server for people of all ages, content must be restricted. Therefore, we do not allow the posting of pornographic or indecent images or videos (this includes inside your avatars and signatures). Links to pornographic or indecent sites are not permitted. If in doubt as to whether something is suitable, check with a moderator or administrator first! #3 Impersonation Impersonation of somebody you are not is not permitted. This includes normal members, as well as moderators and administrators. If you are caught impersonating somebody, the punishment is usually severe.#4 Advertising other websites Advertising other RuneScape private server websites are not allowed. No links may be posted. However, most other links are allowed so long as the advertising doesn't become spam. There are some exceptions, e.g. indecent sites (see rules above for details about these). #5 Pay per click/referral websites Posting links to pay per click (PPC)/referral websites is not permitted. These types of websites are generally scams and not real. Therefore links to them are not permitted. Any links to these will be removed immediately, including in signatures! #6 Releasing private information Private information of other members must NOT be released without their permission. This includes real name, age, pictures, address, phone number, email, private messages, etc. The risk of paedophiles in the RSPS community is probably pretty high compared to other communities, so if you do give it away, be careful! NEVER arrange to meet somebody you meet online, no matter how trustworthy or honest they seem. #7 Encouraging other members to break rules Encouraging other members to break rules is an offence and is not allowed. #8 Spamming/thread titles Thread titles must be relevant to the thread. Spamming, such as short answers or posting gibberish, is not permitted. Double posting is not allowed - instead, edit your post! Remember to keep your replies on-topic.
Spamming includes quoting another user's message without adding anything in your post. If you agree, simply putting 'I agree with you' is enough - but do not leave your message empty! #9 Ignoring staff members If a member of staff warns you and continue breaking rules, this is an offence and you will be punished. | |
